Maybe if you try to explain again somebody will be able to help?ĮDIT: Unless TestDisk has changed a lot since last time I used it a couple of weeks ago and I'm out of date. Also, if you have Parted Magic in a USB you probably need to mount your other file system before you can copy anything to it, maybe you're copying files to the LiveCD operating system? (I'm guessing it's some kind of 'persistence' install in the USB drive). Command Line Utilities rsync, Fast, versatile, remote (and local) file-copying tool telnet, Communicate with another host using the TELNET protocol. You can choose what kind of file you would like PhotoRec to search for each time though. PhotoRec can recover lost files if the file system has been destroyed, but it doesn't show you your files. TestDisk is not a file recovery program, it's for recovering lost partitions or fixing the partition table. Copy files from deleted FAT, exFAT, NTFS and ext2/ext3/ext4 partitions. After selecting the files, press C (upper-case) to copy the selected files. Partition table recovery using TestDisk is really easy. Locate the folder where your files are saved, and then double-click that folders icon. Locate the external drive and double-click its corresponding icon. Alternatively, you can press the a button (case-sensitive) to select all the files. Connect your external storage device to your new Windows 11 PC. Probably there are people here who want to help you but I'm sorry, I have to tell you that your post just doesn't make any sense.Ĭan you try to write it again and be careful to get your story explained more accurately and correctly please? Use the arrow keys to navigate through the files and press the ': ' key to select the highlighted files.
